NICNAS maintained an effective media management strategy, assisting with scientific information on chemical matters. Specific media enquiries resulting in print and television coverage are detailed at Appendix 15. NICNAS responded to 91 media enquiries during 2007-08 compared to 106 in 2006-07.
Issues of highest interest included cosmetics, phthalates and formaldehyde in textiles.
NICNAS received and responded to 854 (compared to 654 in 2006-07) email inquiries to our general email contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
